David Peng

Chairman

David Peng became Chairman of the Board of nSTREAMSTechnologies, Inc. on November 19, 2004.  Currently he is also the Chairman of the Board of two successful public companies: Hauman Technologies Corporation and AME, Inc., both listed in Taiwan GreTai Securities Market, Stock #6218 and #3188, respectively.  Prior to becoming the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Hauman Technologies Corporation, he worked for Fairchild Semiconductor, Intersil/G.E. Semiconductor, and Teledyne Semiconductor.

David holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.

M.L. Lee

President & CEO

M.L. Lee officially joined nSTREAMS in January 1, 2004 as President & CEO. M.L. has a vast base of experience working for a variety of companies over his career.  He was Vice President of System Integration at SYNNEX Information Technologies in Fremont, bringing new levels of services with system product lines.  As Executive Vice President at MiTAC Industrial Corporation in Fremont, M.L. was able to build the company from scratch in ’94 and maintain a twenty-two consecutive profitable quarters, before being acquired by SYNNEX in 2000.  Additionally, M.L. has over 10 years of experience working for MiTAC Inc. in Taiwan, he was in charge of the R & D division and oversaw the System Engineering Business unit.  M.L. also has extensive experience in rebuilding business and negotiations, as he was in charge of acquiring two product companies, and successfully keeping the core of those companies including business and technologies.  At Wang Computer Taiwan, Ltd., an R&D subsidiary of Wang Lab., M.L. was Product Line Manager, responsible for the development of a product line, which generated more than $100M business annually.

M.L. has strong global operation and engineering background, solid records of building profitable organization and provided the leadership to grow any company.  He holds a BS degree in Computer Science, and a MS degree in Computer Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.

Dr. Pong-sheng Wang

Co-Founder, Senior Vice President and CTO

Dr. Pong-sheng Wang began the company as a division of Synnex in Fremont, Ca., working closely with the other co-founders Ching-san Hsu and Bob Huang in 1995-1996. Soon afterwards nSTREAMS Technologies, Inc. developed into a fully operational Research and Development company, and turned into a leading total solution supplier in Digital Cable and Hotel iTV markets.  Dr. Wang is in charge of engineering and product developments.  Since September 2003, he also serves as General Manager of nSTREAMS China.

Starting from late 70s, Dr. Wang has been involved in the research and development of parallel & distributed processing reliable real-time systems and optimized storage management systems. Dr. Wang has served as manager and technical leader for Honeywell and IBM. He was involved in data compression, sequential data striping, storage management, and video server projects in IBM's Programming Systems and Storage Systems Division.  Dr. Wang holds 6 U.S. patents in the computer industry.  He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, an MS in Computer Science from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from The Ohio State University.

Ching-san Hsu

Co-Founder, Vice President

Mr. Hsu is a multi-processor UNIX guru with more than 20 years of software and hardware development and integration experience. His expertise spans from low I/O optimization to kernel tuning to user interface design. He is in charge of core server development and all new technologies. Having served at companies such as Zilog and Altos, he has designed products for Fortune 500 companies.

Presently, Mr. Hsu develops and optimizes kernel drivers for both media server product lines and the interactive server product lines.

Chie-Jin Cheng

Vice President, Marketing and Sales

Mr. Cheng has extensive experience with the start-up environments working for MIPS Computer Systems and Palm Computing as both software and hardware product development engineer manager. His 10+ years experience in the Engineering Management sector, his hands-on and know-how approach to working from raw materials to a finished product has made him stand out among his peers. Mr. Cheng holds several patents in computer graphics and user interface design.

Presently Mr. Cheng is Vice President of Marketing and Sales for nSTREAMS Technologies, Inc. His early promotion from Director of Marketing is just an example of his expertise in the Digital Video Marketplace. Mr. Cheng has lead the team of highly skilled staff of Engineers, Designers, Writers, and support staff to the levels that are appreciated by both teammates, dealers, and customers. His visionary skills are incomparable in all facets of business, markets, and engineering. His leadership has always been an inspiration, leading by example. Mr. Cheng is currently working closely with Sales and Engineering to continue to define, develop, refine, and grow the company to be the world leader that he has vision for.

Su Hsu

Vice President, Reseaech and Development Division

Ms. Hsu has been with nSTREAMS for over 4 years, providing significant engineering skills in the areas video server programming and functionalities. Her extensive knowledge of programming, managing and troubleshooting all facets of interfacing between the headend, software, and communicators have made nSTREAMS grow into a significate provider of iTV needs. She has implimented interface supports for the video library, real-time encoder, data injection, and the ability to support up to 100 streams for our customers. Her continued management of all facets of video server software enhancements, and the strong support needs of the HMS projects has made Su a invaluable member to the nSTREAMS team.

Su's experience come from working as contractor for Acer America for 7 years, managing the Acer Advance System Mgmt. software project. She also gained design and implementation experience at Sony MicroSystems, Corp., in San Jose, as a Senior Software Engineer. She was the designer of the Sony Sierra firmware based on ARC standards, among other projects. Also she designed and developed disk striping and mirroring software, and was a UNIX manager at Altos Computer Systems.

Mrs. Hsu, holds a Master of Science at Villanova University.

John Huang

Vice President, Operation

Mr. Huang joined nStreams in Mar. 2005. Prior to joining nStreams, Mr. huang held several executive positions in the industrial, including VP of Operation Management at Mitac, VP of Operation Management at Ritac IA Buniness Unit. Mr. Huang has over 25 years of hardware design and manufacturing and operation experience for PC, IPC and IA product market. Mr. Huang holds a bachelor degree in Electric Engineerning from National ChiaoTung University of Taiwan and completed required courses for EMBA program from National Chengchi Univesity of Taiwan.
